Mubasher: Boursa Kuwait rose on the first day of the week, as the all share and the BK main 50 indices levelled up by 0.36% and 0.08%, respectively, while the main market and the premiere market indices added 0.14% each.
Liquidity decreased by 18.3% to KWD 14.04 million, compared with KW 17.18 million on Thursday, while traded volumes increased to 23.8% to 103.77 million shares.
Nine market sectors closed Sunday’s trading session in green, led by healthcare that gained 2.21%, while two market sectors, namely insurance and oil and gas, closed down by 0.32% and 0.3%, respectively.
Advanced Technology led the rising stocks and surged by 10%, while Heavy Engineering Industries & Shipbuilding was the biggest loser and dropped by 7.36%.
Ahli United Bank – Bahrain (AUB) was the most actively traded stock with 22.31 million shares, logging the highest turnover of KWD 4 million, before closing up by 1.12%.
